My wife found my iPad today!

My wife called me at work to tell me she found a 64 GB Verizon 3G iPad 2 at the Apple Store in Freehold, NJ today. Can't wait to punch the clock and get home to play with my toy!

On Sunday as my better half drove all over Northern Virginia to Target's and Walmart's looking for an iPad 2. We gave up and they said that they would join me on Monday to sit in line at the Apple Store bright and early.
On our way back from our last stop of the day at Target Falls Church - whose inventory seems to be very wrong
- I asked to stop at Micro Center Fairfax to look for STM Bags. Wandered over to the Apple department to see if they had any bags I missed... and saw an iPad 1 on display. Decided to ask an old co-worker of mine that I saw there if they had any iPad 2's. Just a 64GB Verizon and a 32GB wifi. Score!!!! Now the owner of a 32GB wifi iPad 2. I owe him big time I guess now. LOL
Congratz! iPad 2 is such a great device. The only reason I use my computer anymore is because I don't have an AirPrint enabled printer and because my RSS Reader (my app that will be coming to Mac App Store). I hope to get my app on iPad as well.

Just as I found out, it is great when the "spouses" we have are in to seeing us happy with the latest tech gear.

Better not tell the med student who wrote the "ipad = a glorified toy" thread that the OP called his ipad a toy. We might hear another speech on how the ipad is going to render all other computing mediums obsolete.
Twitter is full of people who feel the need to express themselves constantly, it really is totally unnecessary.
Certain parts of society are just noise and those using Twitter sum up that part of society in one big lump... a big bunch of Twittering idiots.

Good to have tech savvy "spouses"... I seem to be in a battle with my boss and her husband over some of the latest gear.
Though she does come to me for ideas.... In my case my better half and I went to just look at the new MBA's last Fall... We ended up getting an 11" and 13" that day.
Got him a iPhone 3GS for Valentine's Day - I was willing to spring for the iPhone 4 - but he was happy with the 3GS at the time. He might feel differently with the tethering option on the iPhone 4 as he plays with my old iPad.
In the end it is very cool to find a "spouse" that is learning that Apple products rule.
You could say the same thing about the whole internet but really Twitter a part of society. I use Twitter mostly for news and not to see what my friends are doing.
