    Hi Guys -

I think I have an issue with my phone. I recently switched over to Verizon and also purchased an unlocked iPhone SE, so I'm not sure where the problem is occurring.

I can make calls and send/receive texts, but I am missing calls. After I toggle Airplane mode off and on I can receive calls again...but randomly it stops working and I have no idea because it's so random.

Part of me thinks it's the iPhone's fault because toggling Airplane mode off and on makes it work...but I also wonder if it's the Verizon SIM card.

Any advice on what I should do? I'm afraid my wife is going to go into labor and I'm going to miss the call!

    Try a different SIM?

Have her text you instead of call?

What kind of reception are you getting when you can not get calls.

In the mean time tell your wife to text you if in labor.

Try a new sim card. Visit verizon for this.

Go to Apple store and have them look at it.

Get a cheap pre-paid burner phone to get you through this and give you peace of mind.

Is it all people or just her?

My daughter was not receiving texts from my husband, but she could text him and he received them, and after I investigated her iPad, I discovered that she had somehow accidentally blocked him.

If only I could spell Peace :(

OP, please don't give your wife a piece of your mind when she's in labor!

OP, have you "reset network settings" in the settings app to see if that helps?

    Thanks for the help everyone!

I went to Verizon and got a new SIM Card + Reset Network settings...everything is working the way it should now.

I appreciate everyone's feedback in this thread :)
