My wifi button is not working

My button will not let me slide it to the right (to turn it on). What's the problems here?

Try restarting the iPhone and resetting network settings. As a last resort, backup and then restore through iTunes. If it is still bad you will need to get a service replacement issued by Apple.

If after a reset or restore still doesnt work then you have a hardware problem with your wifi chip.
