It should be enabled by default within the app itself . i didnt have to do anything in order to get it working.

I can't get it to install due to apt.modmyi.com being down. I'm sure there's ridiculous traffic right now.
My question is: can you uninstall Rock after you download my3g without losing it?
I've not read good things about Rock. If no one is experiencing any problems, I'll just leave it.

I'm sure the quality will vary greatly depending on how good of service you have in a particular area. 1 or 2 bars is not going to bode well with FaceTime but I'm sure 4 or 5 would be more than acceptable!
Totally not working for me. Got the update. MobilePhone is enabled, but when I open my phone app, and click on a user i want to call, it doesn't have the FaceTime button. What am I doing wrong???
Does FaceTime appear when you are on wifi right now? The jb may have broken your mms and FaceTime capabilities. Refer to te numerous threads on how to fix said issue. You may also need to go into settings and turn FaceTime on in order to see the option. Hope this helps!

I think it's because i have the facetime bug. i'm restoring and hoping this fixes it. I'll report back. thanks guys
You may not have to do an entire restore if you don't want to. I just added the repo from those threads and it fixed my issues. Also pretty sure comex released a fix you can d/l in cydia without having to restore but not 100% sure. Just saying you may be able to save some time without having to do a full restore
I hope you never do. Rock is insidious and puts its claws in everything. Wait til your phone crashes and then you try to uninstall it. And then you try to nuke it through SSH. And then you restore your phone to factory settings, reinstall all your apps, lose your backups (as they carry over the awfulness that is Rock) and rejailbreak.
Do some people never have problems? Sure, but for other Rock as been a horrible experience, me included.
Been jailbreaking since the 3G and I can tell you I would always advice to stay away.

So is there a way to Facetime over 3G without putting Rock on yet? Some say the repo for the 3G unrestrictor is available through Cydia as well as Rock, I do not want to put Rock on as it's a horrible communist app, waiting to JB until I can Facetime over 3G.
