That's what they claimed on their Kickstarter page. I just did a cut and paste. I only posted it for those people that like or looking for Bumpers.

This could be a kickstarted scam.

Become a distributor of a iPhone/iPad accessory so you get discounted pricing for a product already created by another company. List that very product on Kickstarter to get funding money. Then send the backers the product that has already been created.... Genius.

You get the kickstarted funding money and the sale of the product!!

Uh, it's straight up a Caze Thinedge knock off. It's the exact same case

I posted on their FB and the comment got deleted. I said it looks exactly like the Caze ThinEdge and the photo was stolen from their site.

Does it mean Caze is trying to hide something?

No it means somebody stole Caze's design and is trying to profit from it, while silencing people who notice that it's a knock off

To those saying that this looks like any other bumper, you people are 100% incompetent. This product is the thinnest bumper that is made for the iPhone, and one of the best bumpers made for the iPhone. I've purchased over 200 iPhone cases since launch day, and this one is by far one of the best.

It is however a knockoff of the Caze thin edge, in fact they used the photos of the caze thin edge for their ads.

I was going to say that's a big risk of their reputation (or business) and potential lawsuit if it's the same case. They did use the same photo from Caze. It looks like a knockoff without the Caze logo on the clip. I hope it's thinner and type of material is better. I should receive it in December 2013. It could be that MyBanana bought rights from Caze for the design and rights to sell it.

Do you have this bumper on hand? If not how can you describe it as the best?

You just contradicted yourself there. How are we incompetent for pointing out it's the same as the caze? You just said the same thing.

How can you say it's the best if the project hasn't even been funded yet?

What I got out of it was Caze Thinedge & MyBanana Copycat Design > All other bumpers. Radiating is the resident bumper guru here ya know ;)

I emailed Caze about it and they were very thankful that it was brought to their attention. They were felt that it was unacceptable copy of their products.

    ----------

You don't make a bit of sense.

1st the project is not even funded yet nor have they started shipping the bumper in question. How can you vouch for the "one of the best bumpers made for the iPhone"

2nd you even noted they knocked off the Caze thin edge bumper, which is exactly what we have been saying.

    So how are we incompetent?
