Mysql error in 10.5

Hi,

I'm having a problem with mysql. I installed it from the instructions here. I can start it up, and even connect to it from cocoamysql, but the problem occurs when I'm setting the "type" value for each row. It always shows up as "<6d656469 756d696e 74283929>"

I called the database dummy, along with the table. It's happening for everything else too.

mysql.org has Leopard installers for 5.0.51a

I had built mysql from source and a day later they posted this. 🙄

Wow. Never noticed they finally got one for 10.5 🙄

I used the 10.4 version and just installed it...does anybody know how to remove it? Or when I install the new version will it automatically overwrite it?
