We haven't watched any of this season's episodes. Once the repeats kicked in, we took it off the DVR and haven't added it back. I don't think it's going to survive with just Adam and Jamie, both the audience and them will get tired very quickly.

MacNut mentioned Science Channel... We've been watching How It's Made marathons from this season. They're not very good. Like for one instance, they were showing you how they made electric car charging stations, like literally. And then when they got to the point of adding the circuit boards in, it was literally "now the circuit board is added and enclosed". My dad and I were like... What, is that all you're going to tell us?! It's not as interesting as it was a few years back.

I can neither confirm nor deny if you are too old. But, I'll bet you are. Unfortunately, I am too.

I finally got fed up, and don't have cable anymore. Hopefully, Netflix and Amazon Prime will offer enough choices for my family.

It may be true, that I'm getting old and stricken in years.

So sad to see them go and I hope they get their own show. They have a built in fan base.

I the spirit of goodwill and unconditional support...I can attest to the veracity of oldster's statement!:p

Of course, if I'm getting old and stricken in years, I don't know how to describe someone of your, ahh, chronological age! ;)

I wouldn't be surprised to see Kari end up on a show on the science channel. She's been doing stuff there from time to time.

Tory as with Kari were already working for Jamie when they started Myth Busters so he may continue with him, just not be in front of the camera.

I have a hunch there's either a spin-off or some other show or project already lined up for the three of them. They all mentioned something to the effect of "new beginnings" for them.

I have a feeling this is going to happen also. I am not a regular watcher of the show but I do catch ever once in a while.

I thought the three were just OK, I really only like watching Adam and Jaime, so it is no big loss for me.

I never really liked the host set-up. The "three" always felt like a gimmick.

But then, I am an old and bitter man ... not part of the demographic they were intended to reach.

Thanks for posting the link. It was always obvious to me that Adam and Jamie had different attitudes, but the interviews made it even more clear that they had divergent interests as far as the show was concerned.

In any case, it's time for Mythbusters to end after a long run. I think that the same applies to The Simpsons, which I used to really enjoy - they ran out of fresh ideas long ago.

It's mind boggling to hear that in all their time together they've never once had dinner together.

That takes a level of animosity that I can't fathom in a pair that has spent that much time together.

There must be some really juicy stories that aren't being told.

They said they are probably never going to work together again.

They said they are probably never going to work together again.

The strange part is they seem to have hated each other from the very beginning.

Either that, or one eats exclusively BBQ, while the other is strictly vegan.

I have a sneaking suspicion that if someone made them the right offer, they'd work together again. But they still wouldn't have dinner.

Not that I think this will happen, but it would be great if the last myth that they bust is the one that they hate each other.
