I recently purchased MyWi 4.0 for my iPhone 3GS (new bootrom). Neither USB nor WiFi tethering is working for me. With WiFi tethering, I can connect to the phone, but I don't receive any internet. With USB, I am not connected at all. Advice?

your not the only one having problems! I did the update and BAM nothing works! I am so pissed at MyWi I cant see straight! they must know by now they are having problems but are not doing anything about it. I can access it through wifi on a my netbook but I cannot get it through usb on the netbook or the desktop and no wifi on the desktop.
Yes, I am using a password of 10 numbers. I just got USB tethering to work (I'm not sure if I actually changed anything, but it's working now), but WiFi tethering still isn't working.

based on some reports on others website, it seen to be acting on the 3GS for some reason, some user have report success changing the Wifi hotspot name a few time. (not sure why that would solve anything, but a i said some users had report success that way)
