MyWi Tethering Questions

Does it actually count as tethering under the settings app? I can't allow this. Tethering is supported where I live, but $9/mb. 🙁

Secondly, how do I remove it from menu bar? (The blue status bar, internet tethering.) I turned it off, disconnected from network. 🙁

I don't think your carrier will count it any different than data used on the phone.
To turn it off go to settings,general, network, Internet tethering to off.

I agree. They might be able to catch a tethering hack, but MyWi acts differently, IIRC.

$9/MB is internet robbery.
