I dunno. It's possible they might just retire the AirPort Express and extend it's functionality to the Apple TV.

I think they are bound to introduce an N replacement for the current G-based Airport Express. Perhaps at the next Apple event that has to do with music. A Beatles event perhaps? Obviously the EMI announcement with Jobs was not an Apple event, being conducted in London as an EMI event.

Using Airport Extreme (-N) alongside Express (-G)

Is the new extreme compatible with the express? If I set up a network using extreme can I extend the range with my excisting express and can I use AirTunes over that network? Hope this makes sense.
