You're kidding right? Id rather throw my phone at the floor and use it for a year looking the result of the drop that put anything like that junk on it.

lol. Sounded good if it was as scratch resistant as car films, but the end result there (with the camera cutout) isn't too appealing.

There are similar options online from other companies, but either way you lose the feel and additional grip that the jet black has, and I'm also kind of weary about running a heat gun or blow dryer over my phone :/

They aren't actually scratches...and you do not need to choose that version...what does the year have to do with anything at all?

I remember pre smartphones .... pre 2007 phones lasted a week, were almost indestructible ..... 2016 lucky to get 1/2 day battery and scratch putting into your Pocket.

Focus these days is on planned obsolescence and replacement over building devices to last....would explain why your grandparents fridge is still probably going fine after 20-30 years and your new super expansive modern fridge is lucky to make it past it's 2 year warranty.... same with modern phones :)

The only thing I can't see is the air bubble he's hiding under his finger. What a mess the back of that phone looks like with that thing on! He was so excited to ruin the back of his phone with that ugly plastic.

First, how do they KNOW it won't yellow before 10 years? Has it been around for 10 years?
Second, the guy couldn't find ANYTHING ELSE to put on his right wrist other than (what looks like a fake) pearl bracelet?
Third, if you drop it, your still f*cked and scratches are the last thing you'll be worrying about!

I'll stick with a slim hard case, thank you.

The installer in the video seems to blur the truth as to his 'perfect' installation. Im sure he was just trying to make a point. In any event, Air bubbles will always be present with a wet method install and need a little work in order to get them out. Micro bubbles will disappear over night.

I have been applying skins for years and always get a flawless install. First and foremost, there was not enough suds in the bowl in the video. Mix the water to get lots of suds. The suds will create a slick surface so your skin glides over the phone. Makes installation much easier. However, for me the trick to getting a flawless install is a hot shower. I run a shower for about 10 minutes and let my bathroom steam up. Then I shut off the water. The steam will keep the dust at bay and give you the time to get your skin applied. You may still get a few dust particles trapped. Some tape will be able to remove the particle, and the suds will keep the particle from sticking to the skin.

Take your time and your skin will look completely invisible. I am not sure how different this skin is from BSE or Zagg, or the plethora of other skins available. I have a naked case ordered for my JB 7+. Wont have my phone until December, but very curious about the product.

Its also a bit dissapointing to see folks attacking a mans character without knowing him. Calling him a con man or shill, or shady seems mean and not in spirit with what these forums were set up for. Just my opinion, nothing more.

That guy comes across as a complete shyster. I can almost see that after a few months of normal phone use, that overlay "case" starting to curl upwards at the edges and wanting to peel off. No thanks.

All wet skins will curl after normal use after X amount of time.

This guy speaks like Trump. Kind of sleazy and repeating, repeating, repeating, and repeating, and repeating with horrible grammar and sentence structure.
At the end of the instructions it even says "Making iPhones Great Again!"...

This guy is great. The hair, bracelet, hole in his sweater... hard to believe this isn't a parody clip.

Actually, i just cancelled my pledge. According to this review,

http://the-gadgeteer.com/2016/10/24/naked-case-for-the-iphone-77-review/

The skin only covers about 60 percent of the phone and leaves the corners, camera area and bottom exposed. Seems to me this was rushed to market. If other skin manufacturers can get a precise fit and cover the entire phone, the makers of nakedcase should have been able to do the same.

I will stick with what i know works....BSE.

That's what I was thinking. It looks terrible. It's like a junk car cover on a nice car.

Glad that there are people looking for solutions, but let's be honest, a $700+ phone in 2016 should not be as scratchable as the Jet Black iPhone.
I know what you mean, but my Jet Black BMW scratches if you look at it the wrong way and it costs a lot more than an iPhone 7.

Agreed that it does look bad there. However, I've been using XPEL on my cars for years and the bubbles do go a way after a day or two. I buy it by the foot, no pre-cut stuff. I've cover my iPhones and even my 2008 MacBook Pro case, palm rests, and each key on the keyboard ( I had a lot of free time that day :D )

I know this has not been updated since October but wanted to alert the fandom that the rewards contest this guy was running for nakedcases was such a scam. If you signed up for release date news, he would give you a share link. If you had one person sign up using your share link, you got 10 dollars off a naked case. If you had 5 people sign up, you would get a free naked case. Well I had 5 different people sign up and guess what? They refused to honor the reward. Not only that, they removed my rewards page. SCAM alert. Just an FYI.
