In the new Photos app, how do I give a name to a photo and have it show on the photoof an album. In the past I used get info, but now the name is concealed always in the get info pane,

Please go to menu: View - Metadata, and tick Titles.

Right click a photo and choose 'Get Info' to add a title for the photo with the 'Add a Title' option.

    Name photos

I couldn't wait. That works. Many thanks again.
I still cannot name a batch of photos all together, but I can live with that.

    Photo names

I found one annoyance. If the photo has several origins...one direct from camera...one from a download..one from a scan. All the same photo. Photo has multiple img dcns codes, individual naming does not work. Photo has to be pure. I hope I am explaining myself.
