Name at the top menu bar beside time on desktop?

I saw a screenshot earlier, and it had someones name over beside the time at the top menubar on the desktop. How is that there? Am I missing something?

You need to enable Fast User Switching in System Preferences->Accounts.

Accounts under System Preferences, click Login Options (lower left). Enable fast user switching, and then change View As: to Name or Short Name.

Hold down the Apple key and you can drag them around (or drag them off the menu bar to get rid of them). This doesn't work with some third party items.

Is there anyway to move the spotlight icon? I tried that apple-key method, but the spotlight icon seems to be anchored to the right. I wanted to swap places with the time.
