I've had an apple watch S6 Cellular since launch day and have noticed over the last few days I've been getting the message "[name] has sent an image. You can view it on your iPhone" when an image is sent to me. This also seems to occur when a link is sent to me too.

Sometimes it lets me then view the message or link when I go into messages but other times is doesn't ever appear in the messages app.

Has anyone experienced this before and has anyone found a fix for it? I'm assuming it's not supposed to do this and something has gone wrong.

Yes, I have this also. It is usually when there is an image still downloading in the background. Usually for me, give it a couple of minutes and go back in to „Messages“ and it is visible.

The only time I have noticed this is when multiple images are included in one message. If they are sent one at a time they have been showing on the watch as normal.
