I've been seeing on various websites and forum posts mentioning next years iPhone will be named iPhone 13.

However, I think due to superstition reasons the next years iPhone will be named iPhone 12s and then the year after the iPhone 14 meaning that Apple would skip the usage of the number 13 entirely.

What do you guys think?

Apple has not any issue using the number 13. iOS13, OS X 10.13 for instance. If Apple follows suite like they did going from iPhone 11 to iPhone 12, then iiPhone 13 will be the next naming in 2021.

Really no idea to be honest but I don’t think that they have an issue with the number 13.

13 because Apple doesn't believe in suspicions.

Example: iOS 13 went really well, didn’t it? 😂

In Hong Kong, many buildings don't have 4, 14, 24, 34 etc. floors. You probably find some superstitious numbers in any culture.

I would probably see 12S for two reasons : it's logical given design just has been changed and we already move from 11 to 12 in a one year.
Plus 13 is an number to avoid in certain markets. I still can't believe it but some are really superstitious. So that give Apple an extra year to think about that (maybe 12S > 14 ?)

12s. Or they’ll switch to going by year like the galaxy s series. So iPhone 21. We will never get an iPhone 13.
