Name of the "file open" / "save as" dialog box app?

So I use and LOVE the BetterTouchTool app, which is basically the greatest thing ever.

I have used BTT to create mouse gestures in the Finder app to move forward and back in directories.

I would like to do this in the dialog box that is shown when you choose "save as" or "open" a file in another application. However, it is apparently not truly a Finder window, and thus my BTT macro does not work.

Anyone know the app name for the dialog box, or another way to get this done using BetterTouchTool?
