People like you: stop listing stock apps that nobody uses.

If you haven't noticed, nobody else uses the apps you listed. They've all been mentioned already. The point of this thread is to show a 3rd party app you have on the phone that you can't bring yourself to delete.

This thread is actually meant to share those app that download yourself, the ones that you don't use, but don't want to delete.

Ditto. These are really about app store apps.

The ones that get caught in limbo.

You download it, but you don't want to delete it, but you never use it.

By that logic, this thread should've ended after the second or third post.

Edit: on second thought, I get it. There are apps that sit wasting space on my iPhone. But I still don't think that's going to garner any interesting commentary. Everyone has different tastes in apps and we use them for all sorts of different reason. We also choose not to use our apps for many different reasons too. That said, I would be shocked if the majority of people on here come to some kind of consensus about some sort of sentimentality towards a particular app; an app popular enough to be ubiquitous, yet useless enough to gather cyber dust.

My vote would be: Cards or Find Friends

BeeJive IM. At first I used it all the time. Basically everyone I know has just gone to texting... so my choice was to either follow suit or not contact them as much. Still... can;t get myself to delete the damn thing.

I'm a minimalist myself, but I have to have all the spaces filled in on my iPhone, if it's uneven, it makes me feel uneven

... so I have to download a place-holding app

But I'm not about wasting space, so I have to find a good one. But somehow there's always that one app, that you never use.

Haven't used any of these apps, ever. And I've been using iPhones since the iPhone 3G launched here in Japan in the summer of 2008.

Edit: ah, App Store apps. My bad. There are actually quite a few. BeejiveIM, a bunch of Japanese learning apps, iMovie, lots of games, etc ... It's a good thing Apple doesn't have a money-bac guarantee on apps because I'd probably return 90% of them (and I've bought hundreds of apps in the past three and a half years)

I'm so shocked at all the people that don't use Game Center. It's one of my favorite apps. Achievements, leaderboards...COMPETITION!! I also have a TON of games. LOL

I never use stocks, compass, calendar, clock.

I use different apps for an alarm and calendar.

I wish I could list 3rd party apps, but I usually delete them if I never use them.

I take it you don't use app folders.

How is this a good thing? I find this to be terrible. :(

Well, look at it from Apple's point of view (not to mention developers') - that would be a tremendous amount of lost revenue. But I agree with you as a consumer that a money-back guarantee would be awesome.
