Morrowind is correct.....
The other was in fact a Neo Geo game......which one though:p

^ it is what I thought it was isn't it. I suspected it was World Heroes all along :) I knew the status/health bar was wrong for Samurai..

World Heroes series was good fun, not the greatest - there were so many excellent 2D beat-em-ups on the neo-geo

Super easy

power instinct on the right, the left is either one of the fatal fury's or garrou : legend of the hungry wolf...

Stop making me hunt through my neo-geo collective memoirs :p

That looks like Risk or War Games is it? Either that or close up scan of my colon. :D

The other one you posted I am clueless, not somthing I recognize at all.

It is your colon. CGA graphics rock!!! :D

I'll give you a hint, the war game was released for pretty much every computer in the eighties. It's name has Lords and Conquest in it... it was SO MUCH fun when I was a kid. It's actually still a great game. :)

The first is... You're old enough for this game... It's one of the best C64 games and has Mail an Monster in the title.

Which Alex Kid?:D (sorry for the late reply, been asleep)

Oh and rather than doing work I've just spent 10 minutes trying to find a decent picture of 'Basketball Nightmare' on the Sega Master System. Fail :(

Alex Kid in Miracle World? :) I loved this game and it loved me.

I don't even recall Basketball Nightmare. the SMS was my very first console. My dad wouldn't by us an Atari 2600 -- thankfully my friends had them.

What are these games;

cheeseadiddle, that's PacMan. :D

My brother and I used to be able to play the first for hours racking up unbelievable scores... Of course he once missed the bus due to Pac-Man.

The second also got plenty of playtime.

HA!!
The first is Video Pinball for the 2600. The the second is err... Intellivision NFL Football. :)

Alex Kid in Miracle World = Yes!

Basketball nightmare was sooo difficult, you were a load of human kids playing basketball against all these monsters. I can only remember the first match was against some werewolves. IIRC they were like the harlem globetrotters and were nigh on impossible to beat. And that was the 1st level!

atszyman: I'm lost....is it for the atari?

Yeah, both are Atari 2600 games...

The second's most notable feature would be the ability of a defender to run backwards and come out in front of a break away receiver.

Right on the first one, you've got the right sport for the second one...

OK I found it, Atari 2600 NFL Football.

When I looked through the Atari games yesterday, all I found was Realsports and Football. Now I have a much better resource for bringing back the memories.

capoeirista, what's this game... :p

^ It looks like an old game I only played briefly called atlantis on the intellivision..

The other reminds me of killer instinct but I know there wasn't any character called voodoo. It looks so familiar though...

I think Antares' second game might be War Gods though I couldn't say which system it's on (the game was available on n64, psx, pc and arcades)

Bingo!

Bingo as well!

Here are two more. I will not say which system(s) other than that they are both from OLD consoles. I loved both games at the time! :D

^ One has to be star wars.. death star and x-wing in shot ;)

The other is for that old vectrix console thing..

Hmm, Star Wars, Atari 2600?

I enjoyed the Return of the Jedi on Amstrad CPC 464. Legendary.

Right my turn...

This is a game I loved on Amiga 1200. It's quite British, but not as good as Monkey Island(s) (why should be on DS BTW)

The Scumm engine is unmistakeable, that is obviously Simon the Sorcerer.

Nope. Not a Star Wars game. Correct on Vetrex...but what game?

Hmm, Star Wars, Atari 2600?

Correct on it being an Atari 2600 game. But, no, not Star Wars.

The Scumm engine is unmistakeable, that is obviously Simon the Sorcerer.

Beat me to it!

Side note: When I was a kid, I almost had my mother buy me an Amiga to replace my Commodore64 instead of my first Macintosh. Funny how things played out. </Sidenote>

OK, the football game I had listed was Super Challenge Football. It was great, if you had a break away receiver or runner you could run past the offensive/defensive line battle about 5 times as you ran the 100 yards down the field due to screen wrapping... Which also allowed you to run back wards on the screen to catch runaway receivers.

Here's an easy one:
