Name that game: played Late 1980's, black screen, aircraft carrier/jets discovery

Would like help finding this game from the 80's. Only details I can think of is you have an aircraft carrier that moves around the world and you send aircraft (Jets) in different directions to discover the world. I remember that you can run into enemy aircraft. I ran this on an SE/30 in late 80's.

Has anyone heard of this game?
