I have all the Apple Toys someone could have so I have a good idea of how adding a new Apple device usually works. After firing up my AVP today I started to get text (iMessages to be exact) from some friends and they're only showing up as phone numbers, not my contacts' names and info. Did I mess something up during set up or will my contacts eventually sync? I can see my photos that are sync'd with iCloud.

Same issue here. Contacts are not here. Don’t even see a contacts app.

I had to turn it all on in settings, messages, contacts, notes, everything was unselected for some reason.

I can't get my Spectrum email on the Vision Pro. It works on both my iPads and both modern Macs. I tried setting it up manually, but I can't get the account settings Save button to enable.

I upgraded to 1.0.2.

I had this problem too. Go to settings, name/appleid, icloud, click the option to show all the apps, and then turn on the syncing for contacts, messages, and whatever else you want. It worked for me after that. Not sure why this isn't activated by default.

So I discovered that the reason the Save button was disabled was there were more fields for me to fill out. It wasn't clear to me since those fields were below the visible portion of the dialog box and I didn't see any scroll bar.

How do you sync photos if you don't have iCloud photos? It doesn't mount in the finder like an iPhone/iPad?

That worked, thanks.

That was dumb of Apple to have as the default settings.
