Naming MobileMe Account Issue

I'm having a problem naming my MobileMe email account on my new iPad. The name is setup correctly yet when I open mail it shows my MobileMe address and not the name. I have it setup exactly the same way on my iPhone 4 and it worked fine. So I don't understand why it's not working on my iPad.

Guess I'll have to go to the Apple store for an answer on this one.

Can't seem to find anyone that knows why the iPad doesn't let me change my MobileMe email account name. No matter what change it to, it keeps showing up as my MobileMe email address. Yet when I follow the same procedure for my iPhone, I can name it whatever I want.

have you tried deleting the account and reloading it? rebooting the ipad?
