when i drag a contact from address book to create a new event with them the name of the event is always "Meeting with John Doe" is there anyway to get rid of the "meeting" thing and just have the name of the contact?

Or perhaps there is a script or automator workflow to trim the name that i can just run every now and again?

thanks in advance

iCal has an info pane that shows the details of every event. I would assume that by using this part of the window you can manually change the event title and remove the Meeting part. I have not attempted this but give it a shot.

yes thats certainly possible its just i would rather avoid having to manually deleting "meeting with" from the number of events i create every month

Thats why i was wondering if one could change something in ical (i realize its not in the preferences) so that every new event dosent come with "meeting with" in the name or a script that would "clean" up the names of all the events
