nano 5g freeze

Every time I connect my nano 5g to my 1 year old 27 iMac, iTunes freezes. And other things on the computer act funky.

When I connect the nano to my 2-year-old 24 iMac, no problem.

Both have new OS and iTunes.

What the heck?
 
It's then clearly the computer. Reinstall iTunes on the one that isn't working. Maybe you should do a clean install of the OS if it is lagging and acting strange.
