Nano SIM

Haven't seen anyone talk about this. But the Mini has a Nano SIM. Sucks for people that have unlimited data and want to put that on the Mini. Does cutting it to a Nano SIM work?

I see Apple moving towards the Nano in all their iOS devices, just like with the iPhone 5. Saves them space. I suppose the full-sized iPad will get it in its next refresh.
 
You can trim them down, I still have a trimmed down nano-sim in my iPhone 5 because Vodafone wouldn't send me one.
