Does anyone own one or have any recommendations?
I use this one and its worked perfectly.
The $10 AT&T GoPhone Universal SIM Kit comes with two adapters: nano to micro and nano to standard. It should be in stock at any Walmart you go to.
Thank you! Gonna check both of them out.
I second this! I have the same one. Works great!
Don't use it.........
I used one and it damaged pins when I attempted to remove it from my S4 and rendered the sim reader inoperable.
I'd strongly recommend this one. I'm using it with my nano-sim in my Nexus 5 and it works perfectly. The good thing about it, is that the SIM card snaps into the adapter and doesn't fall out like most, if not all of the imitations. (No offense to those who use the imitations)
Note: Please make sure your selection is correct regarding the type of card in the product selection box. (Just thought I warn you before you accidentally purchase the wrong type)
I ordered the simdevil from Amazon; do you have any experience with these? Should I be concerned about damaging pins?
Yep, I borked my first Note3, and also a Note 2 back in the day with these adapters. When you pull it out if the sim card moves even a little then the exposed edge of the adapter will pull on the pins and you can ruin them. It's also a pita to get the sim card/adapter in, it's kind of a balancing act.
The snap in one sounds like the way to go, anyone have a link to one in the US?
My simdevil is out for delivery so I'm assuming it's too late to cancel.
I'll order the one SolarShane recommended as well and test both of them out.
whatever you do, don't stick the empty adapter in the sim slot just to see how it fit...
Jamezr, have you ever experienced any difficulties with this adapter?
You peeps are starting to concern me. I hope the Simdevil works
I have used it a lot to switch between phones. So far I have not had an issue. It lets me use my nano sim from my IP6 to my S5. YMMV but so far I have not had an issue. I use a pin needle with a sharp point to grab the side of the adapter to extract it from my S5. You can also turn the phone upside down to make sure the nano sim extracts from an iphone as well.
That's what I hated, having to put in the adapter upside down with the sim card wanting to fall out. Also pulling a sim card out of a note 3 is like delivering a baby, don't know why there is no quick release.
pull sim card out of note3 with ease using a piece of tape...using bare fingers will require much cursing
