What we need is for these to be popular so we start to get Uber cheap Chinese knock offs. Also, that setup pic with the whole wall lit up looks cool but I wouldn’t imagine you are going to see much on the TV apart from a big coloured reflection of the wall behind you. Plus 800 tiles is gonna cost £13k

What is with everyone on these forums asking for the chinese to steal intellectual property? I get it, things can be expensive. But don't flat out steal from the original creator by buying a poor imitation that (in this case) will likely burn your house down.

Anyone got actual suggestions for more affordable HomeKit mood lighting?

Ikea do a range of smart lights for great prices that are compatible. I started equipping the house with Hue bulbs but they’re so expensive. I found Ikea are great for plain white bulbs and the hue ones are great for coloured ones.
