Is it possible to access files you put on the NAS drive from ANYWHERE? not on a wifi home network, like could you access your files from anywhere you have internet? I'm looking at western digital my book live and was wondering if i could do that

Absolutely. There are a couple of options to make this happen. The best way to start is to read up a little on port forwarding. You'll want to make sure that the ports associated with the services you want to use are available to your remote computers (using port forwarding).
