Very nasty bug. Happens 5/5 times on a clean install as well as upgrade.

For example i'm working with user X and i switch (not log out) to user Y the when i switch back to user X my keyboard and mouse are not working. Keyboard is totally dead and mouse i can move, but i can't click - nothing happens. Can't even reboot and only hard reset helps (obviously).

How many machines does this happen on? I'm not seeing this on my installs. Report it as a bug.

I would agree it does not sound like a hardware problem. I am curious that if it is such a blatant bug others would have been posting on the dev forum about it. All I can suggest is to file a bug report.
