just recently went on a trip to moab, utah and wanted to post some pictures. what is the easiest way to display them in this thread where they are viewable without going to another site

You have two options:

Preferred method - upload them to another photo hosting site, copy the internet location of your files, and imbed them in your posts at MacRumors using this button:

...use a "timg" tag if your photos are appearing too large.

Or, you can reduce the pictures in size and attach them to your posts using this button:

If you want to share photos regularly you should look into a Flickr, Photobucket, or (my personal favorite) SmugMug account (link includes referral code, PM me if you want details).

Your photos are well composed, always have a point of interest, and for the most part vignetted wonderfully.

Yes, if the photos are still up.

Go to the photo you'd like to post (in your Flickr gallery), make it the largest size available, ctrl+click (or right click on Windows) -> copy image location.

Go to your MR post. Click on the photo tab (mountain range on yellow background to 3 to the right of the link button) and paste (ctrl+v) the image location. If the image is too big you can put in timg tags… but I've forgotten about that (please someone fill in the gap?).

I like the photos, but they all seem slightly blurry to me. Did you shoot at a low f-stop?
