MG Siegler is reporting that a native Gmail app is imminent for the iPhone. Apple would be well advised to fast track its approval as it would remove one of the big stumbling blocks for many Android users to switch to the iPhone.

I don't want a Gmail app. I want the native Mail app to do gmail the way this gmail app would.

Once I found out what I did wrong, it works great now. Why would I need another email app?

I thought Apple doesn't allow any 3rd party email apps on iOS?

I honestly really like the native email app once I set up my Google accounts as Exchange. The priority inbox is really nice b/c I have three active emails I need to check. (work, school, personal)
