Does anyone have experience with Native Union marble cases?

Thinking of getting one for my iPhone X. Just wanted to see how well it is for protection and all.

Thinking of swapping from my Apple leather case to this.

Thanks,
Gary

Marble has a tendancy to crack and break when dropped, I'm not sure I want somethign that is maybe more fragile then iPhone to protect my iPhone

so anyone with actual experience.....?

I have experience with Native Union cases, but not the marble directly (I've seen it though and it is similar to their other designs).

The marble is set inside the plastic casing with glue, so it doesn’t come into contact with the phone directly. It is also very thin.

So protection wise it will be as good as there other cases in theory. And I’ve had great protection experiences with the non-marble cases. But.... marble can break. So if you drop it, I’d expect the marble to do just that. If it does, style wise the case is done.

As far as phone risk during a break, if the marble breaks and pierces the back of the phone with enough force, it could break the back glass. If the marble breaks and impacts the front of your phone, it could break the screen.

This is all hypothetical, but also common sense. As others have said, having a breakable material on a case isn’t without added risk. If you are willing to take in that risk for the style benefit, then buy it!
