Hi all

hopefully this is the correct forum to post this question.

I'm new to GitHub and would like to download onto my M2 "Horos" (an available Dicom viewer):

Looking at latest releases there's Pre-AppleSilicon Build from 2024, next version 4.0.0RC4 from 2020, afterwards much older builds. So am I reading this correctly that this 2020 version is the latest, applicable version for my MBP, currently running MacOS 15.7.3?

Perhaps there's a more correct download link, or one must first create a GitHub account to access, or version 2020 is really all that's available.

I would appreciate if someone could have a look at the link to help out.

Cheers

ps I know there's a direct registration page for Horos, but this requires all personal info to be added.

Right away, discussions seem to indicate you will need to use the official project download page to get the latest version. FYI, there are many comments referring to the project no longer being maintained.

Without a Github account, when you run git clone https://github.com/frnext/horos.git you get the latest version and you can build it with Xcode.

Thank your for looking/ confirming, that indeed the dates point to the lack of continued support within. It's such a shame as most decent MRI/ CT/ DVT scans require a sub now. There was the (free) brilliant Blue Sky Plan that built 3 D models on DVT scans for dental but they dropped Mac support entirely in the last year.

So I'll check Discussions in the future within GitHub also.

Cheers

Great tip on procuring the latest available version, thank you. Playing in Xcode is unfortunately far beyond my knowledge base.

Cheers
