Is thisstilly his NBA Game Time app still available? I had it at the end of the last season but can't find it on my iPad now for some reason. Can't see it on the App Store either now.

Really was a good app IMO.

I'm sure they will launch a new one when the season starts. At least that's what they have previously done - make an app each season. Of course they will probably still charge money for it, making them a bunch of cold morons

I still have the Game Time app on my iPad but you just get a message that the season's finished when you open it. I'm sure the new app will be ready before Christmas Day. I may be imagining it but I'm pretty sure the app is free but you need a league pass subscription to use it.

Alright, sure hope you're right. I just have this memory of paying $12 or so for it, but I may be wrong

How was the pricing like last year? Will an iPad subscription work on the computer and iPhone too?

Looks like the app is up now. £119 to follow a team.

I'll wait til the playoff to buy I think, when it's a bit less. Also I find regular season a bit dull as it doesn't seem to matter as much IMO.

Wirelessly posted (Mozilla/5.0 (iPhone; CPU iPhone OS 5_0_1 like Mac OS X) AppleWebKit/534.46 (KHTML, like Gecko) Version/5.1 Mobile/9A405 Safari/7534.48.3)

So it's $99/season, but doesn't include the playoffs?

Would love to see NBA Gametime for Iphone (the non Ipad version) work on the IPad...so I can just pay the 39 to watch the games on my IPAD all year...I dont care about the lower resolution.

The NBA Game Time app for iPhone works on my iPad.

No I believe you pay once and it includes everything.

However, when you get to the playoffs and if you havent subscribed then you can do so for a cheaper fee. That's what I did last season.

I don't think this is right since all of the playoff games will be nationally televised and therefor subject to the normal blackout rules.

For those unfamiliar, League Pass does not include games that are nationally televised on channels such as TNT and ESPN. They want you to get your normal cable package for those. Also games on the regular networks aren't available, but even if you don't have a cable package, you can get the networks over the air in HD for free with a simple antenna (and TV tuner if you aren't using a digital-ready TV).

Can anyone confirm if the 39.99 sub carries across iPhone and iPad. I bought it on my iPhone since it's always with me, but I'd like to watch it on my iPad if I'm at home.

So will you have to pay again if you want to watch the playoffs?

I didn't pay. I am watching the free preview of NBA League Pass, it works on the NBA Gametime app for iPhone as well as double pixel on the iPad. For the playoffs all the games are on national TV so League Pass wouldn't work for it anyway.

What if I'm overseas?

I would like to know as well.

I can confirm that the only way to get League Pass on the iPad is with the LP Broadband account. There is no way to purchase it on the iPad as it requires you to log in. If you bought LP on your iPhone, that's the only place it will work. Even AirPlay has been disabled.

I bought on my IPad, and it seems to work there...(I dont get the free preview screen) But it does not translate over to my IPhone....which is fine as I will just watch on my IPad as long as it works.

I signed up for the free league pass trial and can watch games on both my iPad and my iPhone and can stream the games from my iPad to Apple TV.

I'm based in the United Kingdom and there are no blackout restrictions here - every single game is shown on it.

The price they are quoting for a season sign up (International League Pass anyway) includes playoffs and NBA finals.

I'm still hoping for an Apple TV update to include NBA league pass in Europe.

Makes sense that there would be no blackout in Europe since you don't have option of subscribing to your local cable provider and catching local and national games that way.

If the quality and reliability improves I will subscribe. I'd prefer to watch some of my local teams (Knicks and Nets (though Nets are going to be really bad this year)), but if I can't I'm certainly not unhappy watching the actually good teams in the league.

I hooked up my NBA courtside app to league pass broadband and everything says its good, but every time I try to watch a game, it says "video not available".
This is for non-blacked out games too.
Anyone experiencing this? Perhaps I'm doing something wrong.

This was happening to me as well. Try logging out of the courtside app and then logging back in. I already had an account over at nba.com from last year, so what I had to do was actually activate the free preview from there. Logged out of the app and logged back in and it worked.

What about in Canada? There is only one team and that is the Toronto Raptors (awful team) and I don't even live anywhere close to that city. Will there be any blackout games?

Thanks! I double checked my nba account on their site and had to register the code. For some reason, I thought it was already registered!

I'm having the same problem, and can only get "video not available" when trying to watch League Pass on my Ipad.

How'd you "register" your account? I signed up for League Pass directly (not through cable/internet company). I have a username and password (again, it says in Courtside that I have logged on successfully).

Any recommendations?
