Asked this question in another forum and didn't get any help so reposting here. This is probably the better forum anyway.

I have NBA League Pass Mobile (only plays on the iPhone) and the airplay option is disabled.

Since I paid for the content and don't think the person selling the content has a legal right to specify the size of the screen I watch it on (maybe that is totally incorrect....but can you imagine buying a DVD that says you can only watch on a 20 inch TV?), I would like to airplay the content.

So, does anyone know how to work around this? Does a jailbroken Apple TV 2, or a jailbroken iphone allow this?

A jailbroken PHONE will allow you to do that with an app called UnrestrictPremium http://www.iphonehacks.com/2012/08/unrestrictpremium-brings-airplay-hdmi-support-to-apps.html

You won't need to jailbreak your AppleTV to watch it.

That's DRM my friend, limiting your legally purchased content, because they can.
