Almost every single analyst could be considered a "troll".

    And about the points:

HTC and Sony's sleek metal stylings - They are ugly. The iPhone looks much better.
Samsung and LG's big, beautiful screens - Again a total lie. The iPhone screens are class leading in quality.
Windows Phone's intelligent assistant, Cortana - That's debatable. Siri is not bad. But it's not perfect. Not sure in the Windows one is better but it's a valid point.
Google's versatile home screens - Versatile and garbage. iOS's simple lock screen and finder is way better.
Blackberry's trustworthy security - Yep security through obscurity. No one wants to waste their time hacking phones from a dead company.
The Apple touch Huge plus. Only trolls would say this is a bad thing.

In short the entire article smells a paid article said right now to put people off the Apple keynote on Tuesday. This kind of thing happens all the time. Advertising, Samsung keynotes etc etc. They never work because Apple usually blows all the trolls out of the water at the keynote and of recent has been paying out the trolls in the keynote as well. Something I quite enjoy laughing at.

    LOL BS

HTC One design came from copying the iPhone 5.

Yup. Pretty obvious click bait. Not sure what I'd do if that's why my life's ambitions turned into, churning out such garbage.

So has NBC never seen an iPod touch? Or an iPad? Apple has been using unibody aluminum designs for far longer than the HTC One existed.

What NBC needs is some competent tech reporting.

The same can be said for almost all of the MSM. They get it wrong way more often than they get it right. Or maybe they just like the anti-Apple narrative as it sells clicks.

I found nothing wrong with that article other than not going into further detail. In fact, it was not a negative article but pointing out in many cases the obvious.

    Siri is falling behind.
IOS menu layout and lack of real flexibility remain suspect
    and so on.

I own an iPhone and admit that at times I wish I could do more with it with respect to customizing screens and most of all getting the system menu fonts larger in a way that makes sense with perhaps less icons on the screen and of course the menu items in various apps ranging from the iTunes and phone. There is plenty of real estate on the screen that can be exploited where function for a change can come before form.

For those that consider me a neigh type about the iPhone you are incorrect. I think the iPhone can be even more and continue to be an outstanding device.
