It can just like if you enter the wrong password on an iPhone it can lock up and delete itself the same goes for the baseband that much I knew more interested in the legality of it and whether its been done it could be promising don't you think?

It can be done from what I heard but risky if you ask me.
I wouldnt worry much about the legality but for some reason the Dev Team scrapped the idea.
Maybe they're more worried about the legality than me:)
 
Yeah it would probably be easy but they would have to develop a program that can create and figure out the keys pretty difficult but I dont see why they didn't pursue this I think it'd be easier then having to find vulnerabilities in each individual baseband update.Wouldn't an NCK be like an official unlock it'd remove the need to preserve basebands and kill off the gevey sim.
