When driving or laying down it is near impossible to zoom in while browsing or to scroll in Coverflow. Because iPhone's screen is pressure sensitive, wouldn't it be neat to be able to zoom or scroll by blowing on the screen. Simply put screen close to mouth and blow. Is this possible?

I don't even think you should be "browsing" while driving.

And the iPhone's screen isn't heat sensitive either.

The screen is heat sensitive.
And no, that'd be dumb idea, sorry.

WRONG.

A more advanced type of touch screen, featured on the iPhone and LG Prada, uses "projected capacitive" technology. A mesh of metal wires between two layers of glass registers a touch when the electrical field is broken.

That's why light finger brushes will do the trick. But capacitive sensors don't even need actual physical contact: such touch screens already detect the proximity of a finger from 2 millimeters away, Colegrove said...

You want to blow your iPhone? Hehehe...

Joking aside, I don't see that as being all that great of an idea as you'd have to dedicate a lot of attention to the screen while blowing it... while driving that could be dangerous. Theoretically I guess it could work (think the smoke in Disco... when you blow the smoke moves)... anyhow, I imagine it would be really hard to control as well... and how would you reverse?

OP, are you even sure you've got an iPhone?? One iPhone is not pressure sensative, and does not have a stylus! And if you find zooming difficult, try the simple double-tap function.
Oh, and no offence, but blowing? Bad idea.

Actually, I believe the iPhone does have a heat sensitive screen, this is why only fingers or skin can control the screen, not a stylus or fingernail.
