NEC Versa L2200 Broken Battery

Hey guys, My main PC, a Vista laptop called NEC Versa L2200, needs to be always plugged into charger to use(y'know, just like desktops 😀 ), if I hover over battery icon, it says"plugged in, not charging". How do I fix this? 😕
