I inserted a blank DVD disk that I was going to burn stuff onto. The burning wouldn't work so I went to eject it but because it is blank the computer does not recognise that there is a disk in it. Now it won't eject it!

Please Help!!!

if its not appearing on your desktop, or in the sidebar in the finder, open up disk utility (Applications>Utilities>DiskUtility.app and you should be able to eject it from there.

worst comes to worse, reboot the mac and hold down the mouse button to force eject it. (i think this still works).

Reboot, right after the machine restarts and begins to turn on again hold down your (wired) mouse button or trackpad button.

This will eject any media in the drive.

haha first time that it happened to me i was freaking out, the disk was making crazy rpm's, tought it was gonna explode :d
