I used to use dBpoweramp, but since I recently switched to Mac's I don't know what's good to use.
 
you can use the flac tools to convert to aif and then do whatever you like with whatever you like.

i use Max personally because it's fast and easy and let's me mess with the metadata. it will also split a single flac into say multiple mp3s of aac. what it won't do is a lossless split. as far as i can tell anyway. i still use the ppc app, cuesplitter for that.

i have read some criticism of Max with gaps at the end of tracks when splitting, i've checked this myself and kind find these issues. they may have been resolved in an earlier version.
