I think they are implying you should add $79 to your budget and get the Airport Extreme. I would second the notion, as I just picked up an Airport Extreme today as well.

you will get feedback how ever router sucks and the AEBS is the only thing to get.
Having had linksys, belden, netgear and an AEBS I couldn't tell you what I have connected right now. It could be a linksys or the AEBS. to me that is how transparent the router is in my network.
I have had an AEBS die after 3 months, my sons linksys died in 6 months, my linksys 610 has run for over a 9 months, I have had other routers run fine for years.
