Do we need a sandbox for people to practice?

Is it a special type of page? Or do we just designate a page as the sandbox. I guess [guide]Mac_Guides:Sandbox[/guide] might be the best way to go so it doesn't get included in the main article updates.

It would encourage me to get more involved with the Guides as I'm a little confused on how it all works — mind you it was just a cursory 5-10 min play one evening.

It's one thing to read or follow instructions, but another having a place to experiment in without ruining anything. I know that incorrect entries can be rolled back but I'd rather avoid making a mistake in the first place.

In the near future, I'd like to contribute some content in the Applications section and possibly elsewhere if I have anything of value to add.
