I just a got a brand new iPhone but I have a problem, even when I set the ringtone volume to the lowest point it isn't zero and there is no way to select "none". Any idea how to solve this?

And no, I don't want it to put the phone into "silent mode", I just want a silent ringtone or even better none.

Just make a ringtone with no sound, and set that as your default. If you don't know how, here's a set of directions to make a silent ringtone:
.

You can also buy a silent ringtone from the iTunes store on your phone.

That is so frustrating, and if I understand this correctly I just can't use airdrop I have to use Music to do that. :-(

Update: It is a little bit less frustrating with Catalina, you just need to drop the ringtone to the sync window in Finder and you can use it. Why you can't do this via AirDrop will always be Apple's secret.
