Hope everyone has had a great weekend.

I am looking for a new Notes app for iPhone. I've tried the native Apple Notes app, no luck. I understand that with Advanced Data Protection turned on that my notes become encrypted IN THE CLOUD. That's not the issue. I'm being fed ads for everything even remotely marketable from my notes from neighboring apps on the phone-marketable items from my shopping lists, TV shows from my watch list, etc. I'm not looking for an app that's password protected either. I need one that encrypts the information that's ON THE PHONE, not in the cloud, I have iCloud turned off for Notes. I've also tried Standard Notes with no luck. Anybody have any ideas besides paper and pen?

Have "Learn from this App" and "Suggest App" turned on under Siri in Notes settings?

I never have any bleed of info from Notes into others and have had "Learn" turned off for ages.

Can encrypt notes (three dots > Lock) on device. Those are hidden (aka does not show up in searches) on my device as well.

ADD: if copying URLs to items/shows/etc into Notes, not coming from Notes, coming from cookies on sites visiting.

Idk what’s causing your ad issues, it’s likely not the notes app. That being said, for a truly private notes app, obsidian is a good option to try.
