iPad Need a used ipad that will run current OS version

Hi,

I need a used ipad 11" that will run the current and near term future versions of the OS. This is for a monitoring app that I will leave running on it all day. The app displays current energy flow for my Tesla solar system. It will just sit on the corner of my desk running this app, so I don't need a lot of ton of performance or storage.

Does anyone have any suggestions for a config that should get OS and app updates for the next 4-5 years and is cheap?

Agreed, the best option is the 11th-gen iPad (A16). Great price, longevity for several years, and quality. I’m typing from one (on iPadOS 18), and I really, really like it. If your usage is that limited then you don’t need any features. I would definitely recommend it. I really like it.
