I am looking for a program similar to window's Growler Gun cam. Where I can take an animation or youtube video and simply grab it like print screen but for video. Lots of gamers use it to record their screens while in play.

Preferably one with basic animation settings like crop, resize. Also, I wish for this to have if possible, the option just to record a certain area of the screen.

GIF export is a must.

I looked to try imageready because my photoshop wont import a gif file, but I cant find a full version without the photoshop.

Thanks so much!

Check out SnapZ Pro if it is still around. I haven't had much of a need for something like this in a while but I used this one a few years ago and it is pretty full featured.

So I have an animation that is swf flash file that I want to make an animated avatar out of (100x100 gif). I got this program and so far have figured out how to make a still photo gif and a quicktime movie. But I can not figure out how to make the flash animation on my screen into a gif file. Do you know how to do it?
