....
1) I know there is ability to make individual notes for every set - but there are times when I want to make notes on a higher level than just an individual set within an exercise. I could want to for all the sets for the exercise (maybe I tried a new setting or something for the whole workout). Or, even like two lump groupings within the exercise for the day - for example if I did different hands or legs. Right now, I'm putting in "left" and "right" every time with every set.
2) this is something that's hard to explain - it involves the same exercise in different locations. For every place I workout, if there is an exercise I do there, I note the exercise for that location - so I have "lat pulldown - work", "lat pulldown - home", etc. I do this because there could be different settings for the machine in different locations. Also, the weights I can do could be different so my stats would be screwed up.
So I have my main base where I do my most workouts, then my home gym setup, and also my school gym. And when I travel, there could be something there too (And for that it would be "lat pull down - hyatt chicago" - and this is annoying if I know I'll never be there again).
What's a better solution? I was wondering if it could be possible to lump the same workout into a category - not in the sense of body part/cardio exercise, but rather something that is the exercise - so everything would fall under "lat pulldown". My stats would probably be screwed up since, esp w/ machines, - just in different venues where the amount of weight you're lifting varies for whatever reason - so maybe they can be divided out? Haven't thought this through all the way but hopefully you can catch what I'm trying to say and maybe have some thoughts.
3) will there ever be ability to work w/ gym buddy on anything other than an iPod/iPhone (or iPad - is there something for that already?)? Is that what gym buddy central is all about? The reason I ask this is because when I work out of my home gym, I would like to not have to worry about getting my iPod Touch out the car (I usually leave it in there). And I have a computer near my workout area so I'd like to just use that. But would like all my workout information syncing back and forth so I'm not recreating it on a new Apple device.
4) I'm confused how the super-set functionality works w/ the iPod Touch. I have to create the superset exercise first hand? Any way I could do it on the fly - I'm doing an exercise and want to work in another exercise? What I basically end up doing is doing the reps of the exercise in a set - make a note that it's a superset with the other exercise, then go to the other exercise, do the set, make a note that it's a superset with the previous exercise, and keep doing this.
5) Any ability to share any portions of my workout - or my entire workout for the day - over twitter (prob using twitlonger) or FB? Or integrated w/ blog software (I know this is starting to probably get a little too complex and out of your scope of development). I know I would do it though if I had the capability.
Also, is there a way we could discuss in a forum or something so that others could chime in? Is there already a place for that?
