Need ability to mark a notification as Read without entering Rich Notifications

    In iOS 9 you could pull down on a notification slightly and release to mark it as Read. 3D touching on the notification adds an extra step because you have to then dismiss the Rich Notification window.

    This is useful with one word or small Messages responses that I don't need to go in to the app or Rich Notification area to see.

    Wish that ability existed in iOS 10.

    And for devices without 3D Touch it's even worse

    100% agree. I totally miss that functionality. Having to tap the x to close the quick reply is a pain every time.

    I did submit a feedback on this, whatever that is worth.
