Hi all. I'm having a problem w/ my macbook and was hoping I could get some advice. The left side of the macbook is squishy and if I push my fingers down near the shift/fn area and the bottom on the laptop then the side literally pops out. Also, to the right on my isight camera it is squishy and makes a popping sound. I plan to bring this into applecare and have them look at it. Here is the problem, I have noticed a small crack in my casing on the bottom part in the back right where one of the screws are. I had to have this repaired a year ago and it looks to me that this crack was originally caused by over-tightening the screw to close the case in that repair and has slowly grown. Up until a month ago I had a desktop and this machine did not get a lot of use. So, I'm looking for some advice. Will Apple screw me over and not repair r charge me for repair since there is the crack in the casing??? What do you think? Thanks in advance.
