Hey guys, I haven't been an active member long now, but I've always meandered from thread to thread consistently, and I would just like some input from fellow Mac users. Obviously, I'm posting because I have a problem. I would like to sell my macbook air, but there is somewhat of a small, significant (oxymoron juxtaposing those adjectives) dent on the top corner of my air's casing. I have just scheduled an appointment to go see a Mac Genius tomorrow, and the associate I talked to today said that if a genius won't classify the damage under my Applecare Protection Plan, that it would cost roughly $450 to replace the top casing. Therefore, what do you guys think I should do? I highly doubt the damage is covered, so should I sell the air on Ebay like this? Or shell out the money for new casing and then sell? Thanks! Oh and here are pictures of the damage. Sorry for the quality (iPhone).
